Well, the last few days have been a learning curve for me, and it just goes to show you can teach an old dog new tricks….woof! So the site has been up now for about a week and I’ve (well actually Sarah the IT genius and web designer who made the site possible) have been getting it connected up to social media and a platform (is that the right phrase?) which will allow me to send monthly newsletters out to my subscribers. But of course there were a few twists and turn along the way in particular with making sure all the privacy/data protection was done right. But it is now done and hopefully will help those all important search engines find the site.
So there will be a monthly news letter which will contain details of new releases, reviews, unique subscriber special offers, painting tips and tricks and hopefully other bits of useful information. It would be totally awesome if you would sign up and I’ll try and make it worth your while. We are also on Facebook and again if you could take the time to like, follow and share I would be forever in your debt and next time I see you I will tell you how cool I think you are. I have also set up an instagram account so you can also interact on there, I just need to learn about hashtags now.
Who would have thought way back in the late 70s/early 80’s when I first started getting into table top gaming (god bless you Airfix models) that the world would have become so connected! True story…I have a picture of 10 year old me sat at the dinning room table making a model, and more than 40 years later I’m sitting in the same room doing the same thing, but it is a different model…..even I’m quicker than that.
